Labat & Fils French Match Strike

This exquisite match striker (or pyrogène in French) is inspired by 19th and early 20th century French designs. It can often be seen on bistro and bar tables, and for good reason. The piece is composed of two elements: a cylindrical top for holding matches and a ribbed, strikeable base. In the past, companies would give them away as promotional items, making them even more valuable. Not only can it hold matches, but it can also hold a variety of other items, such as toothpicks. The intricate details are carefully hand-painted, adding to the overall charm. Measures 3.5" tall x 3.5" in diameter. Comes with a box of 100 "strike anywhere" matches with red tips.
