Absinthe became popular in the late 19th Century. The French called it La Fee Verte, The Green Lady due to it's green color. It was banned in the US in 1912 due to it's high alcohol content; although you can still find versions of it in New Orleans. More popular than the drink was all the accessories involved in making the drink. From the fountains to the glasses to the spoons. This impressive traditional absinthe fountain makes a unique bar display as well as serves up water or your favorite spirits and cocktails.
